Individual & Family Plans

The escalating costs of medical care can make choosing your individual and family health insurance policy a difficult but important decision.

To offer you a wide selection, we are licensed and appointed with all marketplace providers who offer Individual and Family Health Insurance plans. These plans are available directly from carriers or on Your Health Idaho. This includes Blue Cross of Idaho, Regence, Select Health, Pacific Source, Mountain Health Co-op, St. Luke's Health Plan, and Molina. We can customize your healthcare plan to maximize your coverage and minimize your costs.

There is NEVER a fee for our services. You get the same premium rates using an agent or broker as you get through the Marketplace or directly enrolling. Why Choose Us? Having a broker adds value to your experience. Treasure Valley Health Insurance acts as a liaison between you and the insurance company and Your Health Idaho. In case any problems that arise with your Individual and Family Health Insurance, we are there to assist, to monitor and complete required tasks. If needed, we can help you shop plan options to keep your rates lower or increase coverage.  Essentially, WE work for YOU, not for the health insurance company.

We are available to work with you in whatever manner is more comfortable with you. Via email, text, phone, or in person.

What you can expect from your agent:

  1. Review introductory questions about your healthcare needs. We will determine your eligibility to enroll, your tax credit eligibility, and help you select a plan. Our goal is to assist you with an efficient enrollment that considers all options and maximizes your benefits.
  2. Help you create an account in the Marketplace or/and begin an application for coverage if you need assistance.
  3. Assist you to shop for and choose a policy that: 1) meets your health care needs, 2) includes the doctor and facility network you prefer, and 3)is the best value for you personally.
  4. Remain a resource to you after the policy is issued.  We are happy to answer any questions, make any changes, or offer any type of support you require.
  5. Notify you of upcoming changes, renewals, or other information that affects your Individual and Family Health Insurance plan.

Let's be honest...
health insurance is EXPENSIVE.

The costs of unexpected and uninsured healthcare costs can be much higher than the cost of insurance. So how can your average person afford health insurance? By applying for a tax credit that pays all or part of your insurance premiums, called an Advanced Payment Tax Credit, or APTC. We can help you estimate your tax credit in just minutes, before even filling out an application, or you can use the Tax Credit Estimator online to see what you qualify to receive.
